• Certification Details
• Must be certified through the NBSTA
• Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology
• If program graduation occurred on or after July 1, 2009, must attempt the certification exam within 3 months of date in position
• Will have up to six months after hire to successfully pass certification exam
• Must have achieved certification within 12 months of graduation
• Cardiovascular experience required
