IBM DB2 Database Administrator

Job Description:

A company is looking for an IBM DB2 Database Administrator with strong technical skills and leadership experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, deploy, and secure DB2 databases while identifying potential enhancements
Automate system deployments and ensure database security according to NIST and DHA standards
Perform troubleshooting, tuning, and problem resolution as needed

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field
7+ years of experience as an IBM DB2 DBA in software projects or complex health systems
Previous programming experience using shell script for automation
Active Security+ certification preferred
Experience in a federal government agency environment preferred
