• Certification Details
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required for all ED at BMH and all RRTs at BMH.
• BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA only) - Check Compliance Certificate Matrix for assigned unit requirements.
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required for RRTs if job order indicates they will be working in Pediatrics, and ED at BMH.
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure required for RRTs at BMH if working in Pediatrics.
• TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course required for all BMH ED.
• State License 1 Verification - check Allied Cheat Sheet for qualifying all Allied Professionals.
• NIH Stroke Certification - Required if unit/job description indicates; updated annually.

  • Radiology / Cardiology specialty
  • 6-8 patients per 8 hour shift
  • Strong experience/skills in Pediatrics and Adults needed.
  • 2-D Echo, 3-D Echo, Bubble Study, Color Doppler, Imaging with Definity contrast agent, Transesophageal Echo (TEE)
  • Performing calculations: Simpson's Rule, Diastology, LV Strain/LV Volume, Proximal Isovelocity Surface Area.
  • Call Requirement: After-hours standby one day per weekdays (M - F) and weekends (Friday evening to Monday at 0700) every fourth or fifth weekend.
  • Additional pediatric-only standby once a month weekend coverage
  • Float Requirement: Inpatient and outpatient medical practice settings at BMH
    • Job Requirements
    • Registry in Pediatric Cardiography.
    • Must hold RDCS or CCI registry from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).

      • Weekend Requirement: Every fourth to fifth weekend per dept rotation - happens in conjunction with call requirement
