Job Description:
A company is looking for an Outpatient/Provider Coder Level
3.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct high-level analysis of reports and provide recommendations
to reduce denials
Perform quality assurance for coding and documentation,
collaborating with relevant staff
Provide training and education on billing and coding procedures as
needed
Required Qualifications
Certification from AHIMA or AAPC (e.g., CPC, CCS)
Three years of coding, clinical, or billing experience or
equivalent education
Knowledge of clinical documentation requirements and reimbursement
systems
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
Continuing Education Credits (CEUs) must be maintained as required
by the certifying organization
