Make a difference as a Program Director
As the Program Director at the Wayman Palmer YMCA, you'll handle
budgeting, hiring, training, and scheduling of staff for program
areas like Youth and Adult Sports, Youth and Teen programming,
Group Exercise, and Family Events and Activities. You'll ensure
that these programs run smoothly, keeping the vibe upbeat and
engaging for all participants. With your guidance, the staff will
be empowered to deliver programs that embody our core values,
creating a positive impact on our community.
Are you a good fit for this Program Director job?
To succeed as the Program Director at the Y, you'll need a
Bachelor's degree in Education, Family Studies, or a related field.
Additionally, at least 2 years of managing staff is required.
Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, as
you'll be working across various program areas and staff
responsibilities. The ability to think on your feet, adapt to
changes, and motivate your team will set you up for success in
creating a positive and impactful experience for our community's
youth and families.
